  • Measure after going to the bathroom : Waste affects weight, but they are not body components and can cause measurement errors.
  • Measure before you exercise : This is because even light exercise temporarily changes the body composition.
  • Measure before taking a shower or sauna, lower-body bath, or bath : This is because body water changes temporarily due to increased blood flow speed and sweat discharge.
  • Stand for about five minutes before measuring : If you lie and sit down for a long time and then stand up to measure, fluid can move to the lower body and have a slight effect on the measurement.
